We are happy to accept American Express credit cards as a form of payment. However, due to the increasing merchant liability of Credit Card transactions the following conditions may apply:
Credit cards should only be used for initial deposits and final payments under $3000.00 - All Credit Card payments will be assessed a 4% administrative fee.
Additionally, we will accept Company Checks, Money Orders, and Cash. Unfortunately our policy precludes us from accepting personal checks for commercial goods and services.
As a general rule, our payment policy requires a 50% deposit on all projects - with the remaining balance paid prior to shipment. In some cases the % payments may be adjusted to meet requirements for material purchases, subcontracts, or special services.
We cannot accept merchandise returns after use. As is often the case with custom work, we cannot return deposit money if the project cancels after the purchase order is signed. Please understand that the Purchase Order is a contract and signing it will commit you for the services outlined in the document. Signer is responsible for any and all cost incurred by Barking Dog Design for Purchase Order cancellation including full payment of all management fees, materials, labor costs plus a 10% project cancellation fee (10% of gross).
No merchandise will be released for shipment until all charges have been settled in accordance with the terms of the Purchase Order or Invoice.
- We regret material for a project will not be ordered without a signed Purchase Order or Sales Quote and deposit.
- No Labor will be applied to a project before a deposit has been received.
Change order fee: If the article/artwork has been submitted for production and there is a change order, there will be an assessment of $500.00 plus any incurred cost for materials.
Although every effort is made to provide accurate production estimates - the nature of custom work dictates that materials, subcontractors, and labor sometimes take longer than expected. We will always try to meet the estimated date of shipment, however we can not guarantee a specific date unless stated in writing on the Purchase Order or Sales Invoice.
Barking Dog Design reserves the right to substitute materials and/or production methods in the best interest of the finished product.
Unfortunately company policy prevents us from including any shipping charges in the cost breakdown of our projects. Shipping of all items is FOB Cincinnati, Ohio. Arrangements can be made through Barking Dog Design and its preferred shippers. All shipping costs will be invoiced separately. Barking Dog Design IN NO WAY ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY FOR SHIPPING OR SHIPPING RELATED COSTS OR DELAYS.
It is highly recommended that insurance in the amount of the purchase price be taken out on all items being shipped. Barking Dog Design provides no such insurance (implied or otherwise) and cannot be held liable for damage done in the shipping process.
